Jennifer graduated from College of the Holy Cross in 2015 where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and was enrolled in the Health Professions Program as a pre-dental student. There she served as an active member of the college community by volunteering in several outreach programs and holding leadership positions. During her undergraduate career in 2013, Jennifer came to Dr. Filler's office for shadowing to see what the profession entailed and discovered her true passion. From the warm and courteous staff to the fine expertise and professionalism exemplified by Dr. Filler, she was undoubtedly convinced that she wanted to pursue a career as a dentist. She is fascinated by the hands-on, artistic aspect of the procedures and loves the deeply rewarding feeling that comes with restoring the quality of patients' smiles and oral health. Shortly after graduation, Jennifer has been working in the dental field as an assistant to gain experience and later reunited with Dr. Filler's practice in 2016 to work as a sterilization technician/dental assistant. She is happy to have joined a team dedicated to providing exceptional care for patients and is reminded every day of why she wants to pursue a career in dentistry. Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys reading, cooking, and dabbling in artistic pursuits like drawing, sculpting, and painting. In addition, Jennifer attends night classes through Harvard Extension to continue learning and building her scientific knowledge as well as preparing for the dental school application of summer 2018. She hopes to one day achieve her ultimate dream of becoming a dentist to help those in need, especially to the underserved communities where access to dental care is scarce.
